2018 Harris Family Reunion
Celebrating Our 22nd Bi-Annual Family Reunion in the Queen City!

Dear Family Members:

I am very pleased to announce the details for our 22nd bi-annual reunion. Blessed that our family continues to grow, it is my attempt to get everyone together to share our history and create new memories in an amazing city that will last a lifetime. I am honored to plan and host our family reunion and hope to see you in Charlotte, North Carolina, July 19 – 22, 2018 (Thurs – Sun). I have been working diligently to plan an exciting four-day weekend of activities and entertainment for all to enjoy.

Unbeknownst to most, Charlotte is rich with history steeped in the discovery of gold and the pride of Scottish-Irish settlers. The Queen City was founded in 1768 and named for Queen Charlotte, wife of King George III of England. Now the nation’s second leading financial center, Charlotte was originally built at the crossroads of two Native-American trading paths. The intersection of these two paths, Trade and Tryon Street, is known as the heart of Charlotte. Charlotte is the largest city in the state of North Carolina and is home to over 827,097 residents.

As noted above, something new that I would like to introduce and gage interest is having a four day family reunion with fun-filled activitities, beginning on Thursday. It is also a time where families can actually can have a nice vacation while also spending time with family and friends.

In order to plan accordingly, as well as to start preparing a budget to determine registration cost, I am asking that individuals RSVP to get a gage an interest level of those who are willing to participate in the 4-day weekend. I have also uploaded a tentative agenda which outlines the various excursions planned for the weekend.

If you have any questions and/or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me via e-mail, j.webb@esterharrisfamilyreunion.com or phone (252) 532-5294.

I look forward to seeing everyone in the Queen City of Charlotte, NC in 2018!!
